Christmas ABC is a family opera performance.

In Santa’s workshop, the final preparations for Christmas are underway… Angels (from the Christmas tree!) are packing presents and fulfilling children’s wishes. They read letters to Santa and, amidst the general commotion, search for the desired toys. These toys then come to life (!) and tell their story…

Among them will sing:

A – for Automobile

B – for Baby

C – for Crayons

S – for Skates

P – for Balls

and much more!

Of course, we will invite children on stage! With their help, Santa Claus will make it on time!

Christmas ABC is an operatic collage, also known as pasticcio – a performance consisting of excerpts from various composers’ operas, given a new, cohesive storyline. To make the arias, duets, and trios understandable, the original text has been replaced with original texts in Polish. All dialogues, both with the children and on stage, are in the form of improvised recitatives (singing declamation).

The performance has no age restrictions. Both the youngest and their guardians have a wonderful time!
