Ladies’ Summer
Performance from 2013
Performance from 2013
Being an artist means an extraordinary way of thinking and conversing, an unusual way of moving, and a uniquely refined taste and style. It also involves a special way of spending free time… On a train station platform, three traveling ladies meet. Their shared wait for the train becomes an opportunity for dialogue and artistic confrontation among them.
Babskie lato is a performance full of self-irony and musical humor, based on arias, songs, and other excerpts from classical music works. These compositions span from the 17th to the 20th century, covering a wide range of musical styles. Their imaginative combination creates an intriguing operatic collage. The theatrical approach, deviating from standard concert formats, is extremely interesting and appealing to a broad audience. We invite you to a highly cultured entertainment!
